What’s the Claim?
A clinical practice guideline issued by the American College of Rheumatology and AAHKS made a number of recommendations, but the support in evidence for nearly all of them was rated as “consensus,” because the evidence quality was very low. We’re sharing this not because we think the guidelines should be determinative in your practices, but because its essential that you be aware of their existence in this medicolegal climate.
